China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) is hosted by Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, General Administration of Press and Publication of the People’s Republic of China, Guangdong Provincial People's Government and Shenzhen Municipal People's Government. It is the only nation-standard, international, comprehensive cultural fair of China. With “exhibition and exchange” as its cores, ICIF makes efforts to establish an exchange platform for Chinese cultural products and projects, promote the development of China cultural industries, and spread Chinese cultural products to the world.
ICIF is the only comprehensive cultural fair which has been approved by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). In 2006, as an important fair which is supported by the government, ICIF was mentioned in the Guidelines of China’s Eleventh Five-Year (2006~2010) Plan for Cultural Development, together with Olympic 2008 and EXPO 2010.
With the idea of internationalization, specialization, market-orientation, standardization and high quality, ICIF has been held successfully for three sessions. ICIF displays China’s most excellent cultural products and cultural achievements. It is a platform for displaying China’s cultural industries. With most completed products and largest scale, ICIF is an ideal channel for you to get to know China’s cultural development and cultural market, and also for exchanging cultural technology and information. The 4th ICIF will be held in Shenzhen from May 16th to 19th, 2008.
