The working committee on rice stock releases expects to complete the rice stock release framework within 15 days, before submitting it to the government.
Chutima Bunyapraphasara, director-general of the Trade Negotiations Department as chairman of the working committee, said that the release will be based on the criteria which will minimise the government's losses and benefit the domestic rice market.
She admitted that it is a difficult job, as it involves the interests of farmers and the country as a whole.
